Ingredients
- Bread (white or source dough) → 2 pieces
- Large ripe tomato, sliced → 1
- Mayonnaise → 2–3 tablespoons
- Salt → to taste
- Black pepper → to taste
- Butter (not compulsory, toasting) → as needed
Tomato Sandwich: Instructions
- Lightly toast the bread pieces if you want, or you can leave them soft.
- Put a liberal amount of mayonnaise on a side of each slice.
- Place heavy tomato slices on a single bread in an even manner.
- Salt and black pepper Sprinkle them on top of tomatoes.
- The second slice of bread should be placed with its mayonnaise face up.
- Gently press, cut in half and serve immediately.
