Ingredients
- 500g chicken thigh, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, chopped small
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 400g tinned tomatoes
- 200ml double cream
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh coriander, for topping
Slow Cooker Butter Chicken: Instructions
- Put the onion, garlic, ginger, butter, curry powder, tinned tomatoes, and sugar into the slow cooker.
- Mix everything together well.
- Add the chicken pieces and push them down into the sauce.
- Sprinkle salt over the top.
- Cover with the lid and cook on low for 6 hours, until the chicken is soft and the sauce is thick.
- Pour in the double cream and stir it through just before serving.
- Sprinkle fresh coriander on top.
