Creamy Chicken Tacos made in a slow cooker with salsa, cream cheese, and taco seasoning. Perfect for easy, flavorful meals.

Ingredients

  • Chicken → as needed

  • Salsa → as needed

  • Cream cheese → cubed, as needed

  • Taco seasoning → 1-2 tbsp

  • Non-stick cooking spray → as needed

  • Optional toppings → grated cheese, tomatoes, avocado, or favorites

  • Tortillas or lettuce → as needed

Creamy Chicken Tacos: Steps

  1. Apply the non-stick cooking spray into your slow cooker. Stir in the chicken, salsa and the cubed cream cheese and 1-2 tbsp of the taco seasoning and cook on HIGH (or LOW) 3 hours (or 4-5 hours) respectively.

  2. With the help of a fork shred and leave at least 15 minutes more time to the salsa mixture be absorbed by the chicken.

  3. Mexican stuff in soft tortillas or in a shell or on a bed of lettuce. Top with grated cheese, tomatoes, avocado or something of your favorites!
