Directions
Step By Step Guide
-
Put the uncooked chicken pieces in your slow cooker in a single layer.
-
Combine the orange marmalade, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl and stir it until it is smooth to a large extent. It is all right, provided the marmalade is still a little lumpy.
-
Pour the orange marmalade batter into the uncooked chicken slices in the slow cooker, trying to cover the entire surface of the chicken pieces with it as much as possible. Soak the sauce on the back of the spoon with the need to spread it around.
-
Bake on LOW 3-4 hours or HIGH 1 1/2-2 hours until the chicken is cooked and tender.
-
After the cooking is done, stir it all gently to ensure that the chicken is well covered with the sauce. In case you want the sauce to be thick, take out the lid and cook on HIGH another 15 to 20 minutes or until it becomes slightly dry.
-
Taste and add salt, or sweetness, as necessary- pour in a little more soy sauce or add a spoon of marmalade. Eat hot on rice with veggies of your choice.
