What You Need

  • Frozen beef flank steak → 2 to 2½ pounds
  • Cream of mushroom soup → 1 can (10.5 oz)
  • Dry onion soup mix → 1 packet
  • Beef broth → 1 cup
  • Worcestershire sauce → 2 tablespoons
  • Butter (cut into small pieces) → 2 tablespoons

How To Make Slow Cooker Beef

  1. Put the frozen beef in the slow cooker. Lay it flat at the bottom. No need to thaw it first.
  2. Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the meat so it covers most of it.
  3. In a bowl, mix the soup, broth, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  4. Pour this mix over the beef so it gets covered well.
  5. Place the butter pieces on top. They will melt and make it taste better.
  6. Cover with the lid and cook. Cook it on low heat for 8 to 10 hours or on high heat for 4 to 5 hours.
  7. When the beef is soft, use two forks to pull it into small pieces. Mix it with the sauce. Add salt or pepper if you like.
  8. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes on WARM, then serve with the sauce on top.

Tip: This beef is tasty with mashed potatoes, rice, or in a sandwich.
