Instructions
1. Make the Patties
Combine in a large bowl; ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Form into 4-6 oval patties.
2. Brown the Patties
Heat a skillet with a lot of medium-heat.
Brown the patties of the cook 5-10 minutes on each side. Take off and place aside (they will be cooked in gravy).
3. Prepare the Onion Gravy
Add butter in the same skillet.
Add sliced onions and cook 8-10 minutes till soft and caramelized.
Add flour sprinkling to onions, and stir 1 minute.
Add gradually beef broth, Worcestershire sauce and ketchup. Simmer until thickened.
4. Simmer Together
Put back the patties in a skillet.
Bake and cover with simmers at low heat of 15-20 minutes till the patties are tender and cooked through.
