Rice and Gravy In Slow Cooker is a warm, comfort, hot meal that is prepared using soft white rice, tender beef and creamy gravy. This is a simple, family-friendly meal, which is hearty, savory, and ideal to have an enjoyable meal that the whole family will savor.

1.5 lbs beef stew meat in bite pieces.

2 (10.5-ounce) cans beef gravy in cans.

2 cups rinsed long-grain white rice that has not been cooked.

4 cups water (to cook the rice)

1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
Rice and Gravy In Slow Cooker: Instructions

Put the beef in the slow cooker, and add the condensed beef gravy. Ensure the meat is covered. In case the gravy is thick, 1/4 cup water can be added.

Combine the gravy and beef and place the lid on the slow cooker.

Bake until the beef is tender: LOW 7-8 hours or HIGH 31/2-4 hours, until the gravy is smooth, thick and glowing. Should be too liquid, raise the lid in the final 20-30 minutes on HIGH in order to thicken.

Cook the rice on the stovetop approximately 25- 30 minutes prior to serving. Add washer 4 cups water and salt (optional) and boil.

Add rice, rinse it, and add it to the simmers, reduce the heat and seal tightly then cook the rice 15-18 min until soft. Taking leave of 5 minutes, and fork out.

Serve: On the plates put a portion of fluffy rice. Pour the slow-cooked beef and gravy over the rice in such a way that the sauce cover and fall over it. Serve hot and enjoy.
