Makes 4 helpings
What You Need
-
2 big sweet onions, cut into chunky pieces
-
4 pork chops (no bone, 1 inch thick, about 1.5-2 pounds)
-
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom or chicken soup

How to Make Pork with Onion Sauce
- Cut the onions into big, fun chunks. They don’t have to look perfect—they’ll get soft later.
- Put all the onion pieces in a flat layer at the bottom of your slow cooker. This makes a soft bed for the meat.
- Lay the pork chops on top of the onions. It’s okay if they overlap a little. Keep them flat so they cook the same.
- Spoon the creamy soup all over the pork. Use your spoon to spread it around so it covers most of the meat. Don’t add water—the onions and pork make their own juicy sauce.
- Put the lid on tight. Cook it on low heat for 6-7 hours or high heat for 3-4 hours. The pork turns super tender, and onions make thick gravy.
- Mix the onions and soup around the pork to make gravy. Taste it. Add a little salt or pepper if you like.
- Serve the hot pork with lots of gravy on mashed potatoes, noodles, or rice.
Cool Ideas: Pair with green beans or a fresh salad. Use extra gravy to dip your bread!
