Instructions for making Mexican White Trash Casserole

Preheat oven to 350degF (175degC)

Cook the meat

Brown on onion and ground beef in a skillet. Drain excess fat. Add seasoning to tacos and blend.

Make it creamy

In a large bowl, mix:

  • cooked beef

  • corn

  • beans

  • Rotel tomatoes

  • cream of chicken soup

  • sour cream

  • 11/2 cups shredded cheese

Layer the casserole

  1. Grease a 9×13 baking dish
  2. Pour half of broken chips on bottom.
  3. Add the creamy meat mixture
  4. Top with remaining chips
  5. Add cheese that is left on top.

Bake

Cook uncovered in 30-35 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.
