Honey Butter Pork Chops In Slow Cooker. My uncle makes this yummy, super soft dinner every time we come over — and you only need 4 things to make it! Try this easy recipe for the most tender pork chops ever. Just 4 ingredients and a slow cooker — sweet, buttery pork chops so soft they fall right off the bone!
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 4 pieces thick bone-in pork chops
- 0.5 cups unsalted butter → cut into small pieces
- 0.5 cups honey
- 1 teaspoons kosher salt
Honey Butter Pork Chops: Making Steps
- Dry and salt the chops: Use paper towels to pat your 4 pieces thick bone-in pork chops dry on both sides. Then sprinkle 1 teaspoons kosher salt on both sides. This keeps the meat juicy and helps the honey butter taste extra good.
- Place chops in slow cooker: Lay all your pork chops flat in the bottom of a big slow cooker (5 or 6 quarts). It’s okay if the edges touch a little, but try to keep them mostly flat so they cook evenly.
- Make the honey butter sauce: Put 0.5 cups unsalted butter, cut into small pieces in a small bowl and melt it in the microwave. Stir in 0.5 cups honey until it looks smooth and shiny. This is the yummy golden sauce that goes on top!
- Pour sauce over chops: Pour the warm honey butter sauce all over the pork chops. Use a spoon to cover any spots you missed. Every chop should be coated.
- Cook low and slow: Put the lid on and cook on LOW for 5 to 300 minutes

, or cook it on HIGH for about 2½ to 3 hours. Try not to lift the lid while it cooks — keeping the heat inside makes the meat really soft! - Lift out the chops: When the pork chops are done, carefully lift them out with tongs or a wide spatula. They should look golden and brown on the edges and be super tender.
- Stir sauce and serve: Stir the sauce left in the slow cooker. Taste it and add a little more salt if you want. Spoon lots of that yummy sauce over the pork chops before you eat!
Notes
Tips: Bone-in pork chops stay juicier than boneless ones. If your chops are thinner, check them a little early — thinner meat cooks faster. Leftover chops taste amazing the next day!
