Glazed Chicken Breasts In Slow Cooker. My husband is more than addicted to the same! We are through with serving one and he is already making demands of when I can serve it again haha. I must educate him to make it!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs skinless, boneless chicken breasts

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup honey (or brown sugar)

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp ketchup

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (optional)

Glazed Chicken Breasts: Instructions

  1. Prep chicken – Sprinkle chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place them in the slow cooker.

  2. Make glaze – Add honey, soy, garlic, ketchup, olive oil, and vinegar to a bowl and stir.

  3. Cook – Pour glaze over chicken. Cover and cook:

    • LOW: 4-5 hours

    • HIGH: 2-3 hours
      Chicken must be tender and juicy.

  4. Thicken glaze (optional) – Take out chicken and put the sauce in a saucepan. Bring to boil 5-7 minutes until thickened. Serve chicken pouring the glaze over it.

  5. Serve With – Steamed rice or quinoa, roasted vegetables, or mashed potatoes.
