The Cheddar Bay Ground Beef Cobbler – Buttery, Cheesy and Comforting! A rich and hearty ground beef cobbler topped with a cheesy, buttery biscuit crust — perfect comfort food for family dinners.

Ingredients 

Beef Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 small onion (diced)

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1 cup combined vegetable foods (corn, peas, carrots)

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Cobbler Topping:

  • 2 cups biscuit mix

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 3/4 cup milk

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Cheddar Bay Ground Beef Cobbler: Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375degF (190degC).

  2. Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet.

  3. Add garlic and cook a few seconds.

  4. Add mixed vegetables, beef broth, tomato paste, seasoning, salt, and pepper and simmer until it is a little thick. Pour into a baking dish.

  5. In a bowl, mix biscuit mix, cheddar cheese, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley and spread over the beef mixture.

  6. Bake it for 25 to 30 minutes, until the top turns golden and is fully cooked.Leave it for a few minutes to cool, and then you can eat it.
