- Dry onion soup mix → 1 packet
- Beef broth → 1 cup
- Worcestershire sauce → 2 tablespoons
- Butter (cut into small pieces) → 2 tablespoons
How To Make Slow Cooker Beef
- Put the frozen beef in the slow cooker. Lay it flat at the bottom. No need to thaw it first.
- Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the meat so it covers most of it.
- In a bowl, mix the soup, broth, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
- Pour this mix over the beef so it gets covered well.
- Place the butter pieces on top. They will melt and make it taste better.
- Cover with the lid and cook. Cook it on low heat for 8 to 10 hours or on high heat for 4 to 5 hours.
- When the beef is soft, use two forks to pull it into small pieces. Mix it with the sauce. Add salt or pepper if you like.
- Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes on WARM, then serve with the sauce on top.
Tip: This beef is tasty with mashed potatoes, rice, or in a sandwich.
