Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
Pork chops (cooked boneless) → 4 chops (3/4- to 1-inch thick, about 1 to 1 1/2 pounds total)
-
Condensed cream of mushroom soup → 2 cans (10.5-oz. each)
-
Dry soup mix, onion → 1 package (1-ounce)

Mushroom Gravy Pork Chops: Directions
-
Lay the pork chops: Lay the uncooked boneless pork chops in one layer in the bottom of a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker. The chops must be flat and against the bottom to ensure even cooking and the chops absorb the flavor of the sauce.
-
Prepare the mushroom gravy mixture: In a medium sized bowl, combine the condensed cream of mushroom soup and the onion soup mix till it becomes smooth and the seasoning is spread evenly throughout the mix.
-
Pour over the pork chops: Pour the mushroom soup mixture onto the pork chops ensuring that both chops are covered. With a spatula, spread the mixture, as necessary, to cover the pork mostly.
-
Cook: Lay a lid on the slow cooker and cook on LOW 6–7 hours or on HIGH 3–4 hours until very tender and cooked (the pork chops are likely to end up being even more tender and must reach an internal temperature of at least 145°F, though may tend to go higher and become fork tender).
-
Form the gravy: Afterwards, stir the sauce gently around the pork chops forcefully to form a gravy. Season and, if you wish, taste with a little black pepper bearing in mind that the soup mix is already salty.
-
Serve: Spread the pork chops on your hot plate with lots of the mushroom gravy added on top, as also on your side of choice (mashed potatoes, noodles, or rice).
