Honey Mustard Chicken in the Slow Cooker

Ingredients

2-2 1/2 pounds of chicken breasts or thighs without bones or skin.

1 cup of bottled honey mustard dressing.

1 teaspoon Kosher salt (or to taste)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper (additional, to taste)
Directions

Lightly spray the inside of a slow cooker, or rub a bit of oil onto it, so it will not stick.

Put the chicken breasts or thighs in one layer in the low cooker.

Prepare the dressing by combining the honey mustard dressing, salt and black pepper (unless omitted) in a small bowl.

Spread the honey mustard mixture all through the chicken and ensure that the it is fully covered.

Place the slow cooker with the lid and cook within 4 to 5 hours on LOW or within 2 to 3 hours on HIGH until the chicken is cooked through and tender (the internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165degF).

After cooking, taste the sauce and add salt or pepper, where necessary. The chicken may be served in whole pieces, and may be shredded in two forks in the slow cooker and mixed again into the sauce.

Eat the honey mustard chicken hot, drizzling more sauce over it.
