Ingredients
Meatloaf
- Ground beef
- 1 1/2 lbs
- Breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup
- Small onion, finely chopped
- 1
- Egg, beaten
- 1
- Milk
- 1/2 cup
- Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon
- Salt and pepper
- to taste
For the Topping
- ketchup
- 1/4 cup
- brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons
- mustard
- 1 tablespoon
Directions
Step 1
Add the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, beaten egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to a large bowl and mix well.
Step 2
Form the meat mixture into a loaf and put in the crockpot.
Step 3
Prepare the topping by whisking the ketchup, brown sugar and mustard in a small bowl. Pour the topping on the meatloaf.
Step 4
Cook and cover at low temperature (6-7 hours) or until the meatloaf is completely cooked.
Step 5
Allow the meat loaf to cool down to 10 minutes and then cut and serve.
